Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Rockport, TX Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 3 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Emergency Medicine Physician – Texas, Multiple Facilities, Level IV Trauma Centers, 12-hour Shifts Level IV Trauma Centers - FSEDs Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking emergency medicine providers for ongoing locum tenens coverage across multiple facilities in Texas. These sites handle high-acuity cases with procedures such as intubation, central line placement, trauma management, OB deliveries, and dislocation reductions, all within a fast-paced environment. The role involves scheduled 12-hour shifts with no call duties, supporting diverse patient populations including elderly, rural, and urban communities. Opportunity Highlights Location: Multiple Facilities, Texas Employment Type: Locum Tenens Coverage: Ongoing Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, single provider at each site Start Date: ASAP Duration: 1 year Practice Environment Facilities range from 8 to 18 beds, with patient census averaging 45 to 80 daily across sites. Some locations are designated Level IV trauma centers, others handle high-acuity emergency cases without trauma designation. Support includes APP coverage from 9 to 24 hours daily, ensuring physician efficiency in managing trauma, cardiac, stroke, OB, and orthopedic emergencies.
