JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
Licenses: Active LA Medical License, CDS, DEA with LA address
DEA/CDS: Active DEA and CDS requir ed
Cert ifications: ACLS, ALS, PALS (if not BC in EM)
Experience: Res idency trained in Emergency Medicine requir ed
Other Qual ifications: CME within past 2 years, case logs, copies of all education & training diplomas, ECFMG if applicable, SS Card, Driver's license, color photo, TB results, flu vaccine, health attestation, interview with Medical Director
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pro vide comprehensive er mergency medical care to patients of all ages.
Manage acute medical conditions including trauma, card iac, and res piratory er mergencies.
Per form requir ed er mergency pro cedures (e.g., intubation, central lines, etc.).
Coll aborate with nurs e pract itioners, physician assist ants, and sc ribes in patient care.
Main tain accurate medical records and com ply with hospital policies and reg ulations.
