Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Ketchikan, AK Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $160 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Family Medicine Physician Assignment Details Location: Ketchikan, Alaska Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) Specialty: Family Medicine Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic Coverage Type: Scheduled Day Coverage / No Call Start Date: ASAP / Ideally November 23, 2026 Coverage Need: 1.0 FTE EMR: Epic Compensation Hourly: $160/hour Overtime: $200/hour Holiday: $240/hour Schedule Monday-Friday Shift Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Standard 8-Hour Day Shifts No Call No Rounding or Admissions Patient Population / Volume All Ages Approximately 16-18 Patients Per Day Clinical Responsibilities Provide Outpatient Family Medicine Care Evaluate and Manage Patients Across All Age Groups Provide Routine Primary Care Services Work Independently Preferred Procedures / Skills Skin Excisions and Punch Biopsies Nexplanon Placement / Management IUD Placement / Management Cryotherapy Toenail Avulsions No Specific Procedures Required Clinical Environment / Support Outpatient Clinic Setting Provider May Work Independently Epic EMR Requirements Board Certified in Family Medicine - Required At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Family Medicine - Required Alaska Medical License - Highly Preferred for Timely Start Candidates Requiring Alaska Licensure May Be Considered BLS - Required BLS Must Be From the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, as Applicable Epic Proficiency - Required COVID-19 Vaccination - Required, No Exemptions Recent Clinical Activity Requirements Must Demonstrate Involvement as an Admitting Physician for at Least 20 Patients During the Previous 2 Years614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
