Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Franklin, VA Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $175 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Primary Care Physician - Locum Assignment Details Location: Franklin, Virginia Provider Type: Physician Specialty: Primary Care / Family Medicine Coverage Dates: 09/21/ /18/2026 Coverage Reason: Provider vacancy Part-time locum coverage Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic No call No teaching or leadership responsibilities EMR: Epic Compensation: Hourly - $175/hr, Overtime - $265/hr. Schedule Monday-Wednesday 8:00 AM-2:00 PM No call or callback requirements Patient Population Ages 16 Adult: 51% Pediatric: 1% Geriatric: 48% Approximately 10-16 patients per day 100% outpatient Primary care setting; no trauma designation Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services Routine patient evaluations and ongoing management Pap smears Diabetic foot examinations Limited in-office procedures expected Requirements Board Certified in Family Medicine - Required Active Virginia license OR ability to obtain Virginia license before 09/21/2026 - Required License eligibility must be confirmed at time of name clear ACLS - Required BLS - Required DEA - Required Credentialing Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days Temporary privileges available Travel Airfare Lodging Rental car Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
