About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice MD in California!
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 60-day assignment in California, starting Sep 15, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule, with coverage required for two Saturdays each month, balanced by a weekday off to maintain a consistent five-day work week. Shifts vary, with Mondays from 11:00 AM-7:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, and Saturdays from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. The successful candidate will focus on assessing and consulting clinic patients of all ages, handling various cases including sick visits, routine check-ups, wellness visits, and preventive care. No procedures are required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assess and consult clinic patients of all ages
Manage common illnesses such as cold, cough, flu, rashes, scrapes, and burns during sick visits
Provide routine check-ups, wellness visits, and preventive care for all age groups
Maintain a consistent five-day work week, incorporating two Saturdays per month with a corresponding weekday off
Perform duties without the need for procedures
Additional Information
Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
The clinic utilizes eClinicalWorks EMR.
