About the Position A healthcare facility in Petoskey, Michigan is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity. This is an excellent assignment for a physician who enjoys caring for patients of all ages in a well-supported clinic environment with no call responsibilities.
Position Highlights
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends
No night call
Patient Volume:
Approximately 20 patients per day

Cerner
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for adult and pediatric patients
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform routine wellness visits and preventive care
Conduct gynecologic exams, including pelvic exams and Pap smears
Interpret EKGs
Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up as needed
Accurately document patient encounters in Cerner EHR
Required Qualifications
Board Certified in Family Medicine
Active Michigan medical license
Previous Family Medicine experience required
Must be local to Michigan
Strong outpatient clinical and diagnostic skills
Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
