Position Overview HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Advanced Gastroenterologist with ERCP and EUS expertise for a high-paying locum tenens opportunity in Texas .
The physician will support a busy hospital-based GI service with scheduled procedures, inpatient consultation, advanced endoscopy, and beeper call.
Pay Ranking: Top 10% – Advanced GI
Clinical Coverage: $450/hour
24-Hour Beeper Call: $5,000/day including 4 callback hours
Additional Callback: $500/hour

Advanced Gastroenterology
ERCP required
Therapeutic ERCP required

Scheduled colonoscopies/procedures
Inpatient GI consults

Approximately 5–7 patients per shift
Approximately 4–6 patients seen during call
Approximately 4–6 admissions during call
Estimated callback rate: 10–15%
Epic EMR
Level I Trauma facility
Board Certification required
GI fellowship required
Active Texas license required
Temporary privileges available
Estimated credentialing: 30–60 days
No APP supervision
No resident/teaching supervision
Travel covered within client limits
