Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Fort Myers, FL Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Gastroenterology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Fort Myers, Florida Coverage Period: Oct 05, 2026 – Apr 05, 2027 Shift Schedule: Days, 7:30a – 3:30p Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 8-12 consults and 2-8 procedures per day Case Mix: GI consultations, colonoscopy, endoscopy, EUS, ERCP as needed Rounding: Included FACILITY INFORMATION Specialty Backup Available: Yes, Anesthesiology and APP support Support Staff Available: APPs at CCH, GCMC, HPMC PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Colonoscopy Endoscopy DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Round on consultations and follow-ups for inpatient GI service. Perform GI endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and endoscopy. Provide comprehensive inpatient care, with potential to cover outpatient as needed.
