Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Midland, MI Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Specialty: GI Hospitalist o Location: MyMichigan Medical Center Midland 4000 Wellness Dr, Midland, MI 48670 o Clinic, Call, or Both: Call only (7am - 7am) o Schedule: One day of Orientation, prior to first date of coverage. One-Two days of Proctoring, prior to first date of coverage. 7 on / 7 off Orientation rate: flat rate of $500.00 for 4 hours or less of orientation. For orientations that go longer than 4 hours, the flat rate will be $1,000. o Case Logs (Required Previous Experience): All applicants must be able to demonstrate that he or she has provided inpatient or consultative services for at least 24 patients in the past 12 months and documented in that time he or she has had the following minimal endoscopic experience within the past 12 months: A. Diagnostic EGD: 100 procedures B. Total Colonoscopy: 100 Procedures C. Snare polypectomy: 20 Procedures D. Nonvariceal hemostasis (upper and lower): 10 active bleeders and total of 20 procedures E. Variceal hemostasis: 5 active bleeders and a total of 15 procedures o EMR and Dictation Tools: EPIC/Dragon o Required experience, training, and certifications: BC/BE BLS o Consider IMLC or waiting for a license: MI license only due to timeframe o Credentialing Timeframe: Typically 30 days, but applications are prioritized according to start date Please follow the presentation format below, or presentations WILL NOT be accepted.
