REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Required Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices)
ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) (Diagnostic, Therapeutic)
With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
Esophageal dilatation/manometry
Esophageal manometry interpretation
Small Bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible, Rigid)
Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
Preferred Liver biopsy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC
Licenses: Active WI license or willing to obtain
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Fellowship: Required
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide outpatient clinic consultations and follow-up for gastroenterology patients.
Perform scheduled endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.
Manage inpatient census of 28-30 patients, including rounding and ICU/IMCU consults.
Collaborate with APC support staff in clinic and endoscopy teams.
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and order entry.
