Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Pontiac, MI Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-69906 Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Lapeer, MI Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Call Coverage Period: Sep 14, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Call Schedule: Nights & weekends; calls are OPTIONAL Reason for Coverage: Recruitment gap PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: 100% Adults Average Daily Volume: 15-20 patients Case Mix: Hematology, Oncology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Oncology RNs, Medical Assistants, Social Worker, Dietitian, Nurse Navigator REQUIRED PROCEDURES Hematology outpatient care Oncology outpatient care Participation in tumor board JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE in Medical Oncology and Hematology Licenses: Active Michigan License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum 2 years NPDB report (obtained in the last 30 days) Other Qualifications: Cerner EMR proficiency preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care to adult patients. Participate in tumor board meetings. Manage clinic patients on assigned days (Mon, Wed, Fri). Provide clinic call as needed.
