Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Reidsville, NC Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Reidsville, NC Service Setting: Inpatient Facility Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Dec 14, 2026 – Sep 13, 2027 Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Flight, Rental Car, and Lodging covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Volume/Census: 15 patients/day Case Mix: Benign Hematology, General Oncology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 60 – 90 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active NC License Board: BC/BE in Hematology or Oncology DEA: Required Certifications: BLS Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in Hematology/Oncology DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive care in an ambulatory Hematology/Oncology clinic, including follow-ups and new patient consultations. Focus on benign hematology, managing a patient panel with 60-65% hematology cases. Write orders and prescriptions, and communicate effectively with the pharmacy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, navigators, APPs, and infusion specialists.
