Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist Location: Cleveland, MS Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Cleveland, Mississippi Hospitalist Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Cleveland, Mississippi . Built around a dependable 7-on/7-off rotation , this opportunity offers the consistency of a recurring schedule with the flexibility to choose either day or night coverage . Physicians will provide comprehensive adult inpatient care within an established community hospital environment using MEDHOST. Opportunity Highlights Ongoing locum tenens coverage Consistent 7-on/7-off rotation Day or night shift availability Day shift: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Night shift: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Adult inpatient rounding and admissions Established community hospital setting MEDHOST electronic medical record Predictable recurring block scheduling Competitive compensation package Schedule Recurring 7 days on / 7 days off 12-hour shifts Day coverage: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Night coverage: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Ongoing coverage need Physicians may be considered for either day or night rotations based on availability Clinical Scope This is a true community Hospital Medicine opportunity centered on comprehensive adult inpatient care. Responsibilities include: Daily inpatient rounding New patient admissions Evaluation and management of acute and chronic medical conditions Coordination with the Emergency Department, nursing, consultants and case management Development and oversight of inpatient treatment plans Discharge planning and clinical documentation Stabilization and transfer coordination when a higher level of care is required Documentation and order management within MEDHOST The ideal physician will be comfortable managing a broad adult medical population while practicing with the autonomy and clinical ownership expected in a community hospital setting. Practice Environment Adult medical-surgical inpatient care Emergency Department admission flow ICU and telemetry capability Diagnostic imaging and laboratory services Pharmacy and respiratory support Surgical and rehabilitation resources Collaborative multidisciplinary care team MEDHOST EMR Requirements Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Completion of an Internal Medicine residency Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine Recent adult Hospital Medicine experience Current inpatient rounding and admitting experience Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license strongly preferred Active DEA registration Current ACLS certification Ability to commit to an ongoing 7-on/7-off rotation Family Medicine physicians may be considered with substantial recent adult hospitalist experience.
