Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist Location: Fargo, ND Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-MD-54942 Profession: Physician Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Fargo, ND Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Call Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (day shifts) On-Call Shift Schedule: Overnight call as needed Call Type: 2nd Call / Backup Call Ratio: 7 on/7 off Call Response Time: 20 minutes Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Long-Term Permanent Search Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Provided by Vendor PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 11 patients/day Admissions: 1-2 Rounding: Assigned Patients Phone Consults: 2 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 2, PA/NPs: 3 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required Inpatient Nursery Level II/NICU Intubation (ENT/INT) Pediatrics JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC required; minimum: Eligible Licenses: Licensed in ND Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Fellowship: Preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years Pediatric Hospitalist experience Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pediatric hospitalist care for patients in pediatrics and nursery. Manage average daily census of approximately 11 patients. Handle 1-3 admissions per shift. Participate in overnight call coverage and respond to callback when needed.
