JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Licenses: Active Virginia license and DEA
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience: Residency trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day rounding coverage for hospitalized patients at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, including admissions, daily management, and discharges.
Manage a patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day.
Coordinate care with off-site specialists and intensivists as needed, given no onsite specialty backup outside ICU.
Document patient care activities in EPIC EMR and participate in Valley Health training modules and orientation.
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure safe, timely, and effective patient care.
