Doctor of Medicine | Neonatal Location: Cumberland, MD Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Neonatologist Assignment Details Location: Cumberland, Maryland Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) Specialty: Neonatology Practice Setting: Inpatient / NICU Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Start Date: October 7, 2026 Expected Duration: Ongoing Coverage Need: Full-Time NICU Level: Level II EMR: Epic Compensation 24-Hour Call: $4,675 per 24 Hours Schedule 24-Hour Call Shifts Shift Hours: 12:00 PM-12:00 PM Approximately 14 Shifts Per Month Daily Rounding: Approximately 9:00 AM-2:00 PM, Depending on Patient Acuity Telephone Call With 30-Minute Response Time Current Coverage Dates October 7 at 12:00 PM-October 12 at 12:00 PM October 27 at 12:00 PM-November 1 at 12:00 PM Active Maryland License Required for These Coverage Dates Patient Population / Volume Patient Population: Neonates 100% Pediatric Well Newborns and Sick Newborns Newborns Experiencing Drug Withdrawal NICU Manages Infants Approximately 32 Weeks Gestation and Above Approximately 1 Admission While On Call Clinical Responsibilities Provide 24-Hour Neonatology Call Coverage Perform Daily NICU Rounds Manage Well and Sick Newborns Manage Newborns Experiencing Drug Withdrawal Provide Care for Infants Approximately 32 Weeks Gestation and Above Assist With Deliveries Involving Known High-Risk Pregnancies or Deliveries Provide Telephone Call Coverage With a 30-Minute Response Time Work Independently During Coverage Clinical Environment / Support Level II NICU No APP Coverage Available Provider Will Work Solo Other Medical Subspecialties Available Onsite Except Rheumatology and Genetics Epic EMR Requirements Board Certified - Required Minimum of 3 Years of Clinical Experience in Neonatology - Required Maryland Medical License - Required for Current October Coverage Dates Candidates Requiring Maryland Licensure May Be Considered for Future Coverage DEA Registration - Required Maryland CSR License - Required ACLS - Required BLS - Required NALS - Required PALS - Required Credentialing Full Privileges Available614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
