Doctor of Medicine | Neonatal Location: Harrisburg, PA Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Neonatologist Assignment Details Location: Harrisburg and Lititz, Pennsylvania Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) Specialty: Neonatology Practice Setting: Inpatient / NICU Coverage Type: 24-Hour In-House Coverage Start Date: December 1, 2026 Coverage Duration: Ongoing Coverage Need: Part-Time Reason for Coverage: Turnover Vacancy Minimum Availability: 7 Days Per Month Approximately 12 Shifts Per Month Needed Provider Must Be Willing to Cover Both Harrisburg and Lititz Locations EMR: Epic Bridges Call Type: In-House Compensation 24-Hour Call: $4,675 per 24 Hours Schedule 24-Hour In-House Shifts Daytime NICU Coverage: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Overnight In-House Call: 4:30 PM-8:30 AM Minimum of 7 Days of Availability Per Month Approximately 12 Shifts Per Month Needed Patient Population / Volume Patient Population: 100% Pediatric / Neonatal Level III NICU Care Approximately 1-3 Admissions While On Call Full Range of Level III NICU Patients Prematurity and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants Gestational Age 22 Weeks Pediatric General Surgery Cases Clinical Responsibilities Provide 24-Hour In-House Neonatology Coverage Perform Daily NICU Rounds Provide Ongoing Care and Management of NICU Patients Provide Delivery Room Coverage Provide Prenatal Consultations as Needed Support Neonatal Transport Services Manage Premature and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants Provide High-Frequency Ventilation Including HFOV and HFJV Provide Therapeutic Hypothermia Provide Routine and Advanced NICU Care Required Procedures / Skills Endotracheal Intubation Umbilical Line Placement Chest Tube Placement Neonatal Resuscitation Routine NICU Procedures High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV) Therapeutic Hypothermia Clinical Environment / Support Daytime Coverage Includes Neonatologists and Neonatal APPs Harrisburg Overnight Coverage Is Shared Between 2 NICU Providers Harrisburg Overnight Team May Include 1 Neonatologist and 1 APP or 2 Neonatologists 24-Hour APP Coverage Available at Harrisburg Lititz Overnight Coverage Is Solo Provider Must Be Willing to Cover Both Locations Requirements Board Certified - Required Minimum of 1 Year of Neonatology Experience - Required At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Neonatology - Required Active Pennsylvania Medical License - Required at Application IMLC Accepted NRP - Required DEA - Required Provider Must Be Willing to Cover Both Harrisburg and Lititz Locations Minimum Availability of 7 Days Per Month - Required Credentialing Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 Days Full Privileges Required614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
