About the Facility This assignment is based at a VA Medical Center providing inpatient and outpatient nephrology services to a veteran patient population. The facility supports a comprehensive nephrology program, including hospital ward services, outpatient clinic operations, and dialysis management. Clinical operations are conducted on-site, with coverage structured across day shifts and call rotations.
About the Facility Location West Virginia offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to a variety of interests. State parks, rail trails, scenic railroads, and natural landmarks provide opportunities for river rafting, mountain biking, hiking, and zip-lining throughout the year. Cultural venues and community events, including live music performances, parades, and food festivals, are also accessible across the state.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with weeknight and weekend call responsibilities, including 24-hour call. Clinical duties encompass hospital ward inpatient nephrology services, outpatient clinic coverage, and dialysis oversight and management. Conditions managed include Chronic Kidney Disease, End Stage Renal Disease, Acute Kidney Injury, hypertension, kidney stones, and electrolyte disorders, as well as ongoing management of dialysis and kidney transplant patients. The facility is seeking 2-3 clinicians to fill a full coverage schedule beginning November 1.
