Doctor of Medicine | Neurology - General/Other Location: Cumberland, MD Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: $300 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position General Neurology Physician Assignment Details Location: Cumberland, Maryland Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) Specialty: General Neurology / Neurohospitalist Start Date: January 1, 2027 Duration: Ongoing Coverage Need: Full-Time Practice Setting: Outpatient Neurology Clinic EMR: Epic Call: No Solo Coverage: Yes APP/Mid-Level Support: None Compensation: Hourly: $300hr, Orientation: $300/hr. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Approximately 20 shifts per month Provider should indicate how many shifts per week they can cover If unable to cover weekly, provider should indicate how many shifts per month they can offer Provider must confirm ability to start in January 2027 Patient Population / Volume Patient Population: 100% Adult Average Volume: Approximately 18-20 patients per shift Patient Mix: New and established patients EEGs: Approximately 2-3 outpatient EEGs per day to interpret Clinical Responsibilities Provide outpatient General Neurology care Manage an established patient panel Evaluate and treat new patient referrals Manage bread-and-butter Neurology conditions Interpret outpatient EEGs Provide longitudinal Neurology care Typical Cases Movement Disorders Multiple Sclerosis ALS Migraine Stroke Procedures No procedures required EEG interpretation required Support / Practice Environment No APP or Mid-Level coverage available Broad medical subspecialty support available onsite Provider will practice independently Requirements Board Certified OR Board Eligible - Required Maryland medical license not required at time of application Candidates needing to obtain a Maryland license may be considered DEA - Required Maryland CSR - Required BLS - Required Minimum 3 years of experience - Required Must be comfortable working independently Must be comfortable interpreting outpatient EEGs Credentialing Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days Full privileges available Virtual orientation details provided prior to start Travel Personal vehicle mileage may be reimbursed Airfare may be reimbursed Lodging may be reimbursed Parking may be reimbursed Rental car and fuel may be reimbursed Ground transportation may be reimbursed614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
