Quick Facts Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL Start Date: 10/26/2026 End Date: 01/25/2027 Shift: 24-hour call shifts (7 am-7 am) Hours/Week: As scheduled Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Active Florida Medical License, Board Certification in OB/GYN, DEA Experieimum 2 years full-scope OB/GYN experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $3,334.50 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per law Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care for women, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum services Support labor and delivery, including C-sections Work collaboratively with certified nurse-midwives and support staff Manage a patient load of fewer than five patients daily, focusing on women of childbearing age Respond to 24-hour call shifts including emergencies and routine care Document patient interactions accurately within the Meditech EMR Participate in hospital procedures and patient education as needed What You Need Valid Florida Medical License and active DEA license Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Minimum of 2 years recent full-scope OB/GYN experience Comfortable working with nurse-midwives Exceptional communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a supportive team at a well-regarded hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL, providing critical OB/GYN services to women in the community.
