Pleasant, MI | Hospital & Clinic Coverage Are you a dedicated, board-certified OB/GYN looking for a rewarding locum opportunity in Michigan? This ongoing assignment offers excellent support, a standard 24/7 hospital coverage model, and timely start in September 2026. Quick Facts: Location: Mt. Pleasant, MI Start Date: 09/25/2026 End Date/Duration: 01/02/2027 (with potential extension) Shift: Flexible OB call coverage, 24/7 hospital coverage including labor and delivery, ER, surgical, and consults Hours/Week: Variable, as per coverage needs Employment Type: Locum/Travel Licensing: Active MI medical license preferred Experience: Board-certified OB/GYN with hospital and outpatient experience Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: To be discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team throughout your assignment What You’ll Do: Provide OB/GYN care for low-risk pregnancies, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections Handle labor & delivery, emergency department, surgical needs, and urgent surgical consults Manage complex cases such as VBAC, third and fourth-degree laceration repairs, and OB ultrasounds Support hospital coverage with approximately 4 patients per day Collaborate with NPs and support staff using Cerner EMR Participate in patient education and consultation for emergent and non-emergent cases Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain a high standard of patient care What You Need: Active Michigan medical license (or eligibility) Board certification in OB/GYN Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN experience, preferably in hospital settings Experience with labor and delivery, C-section procedures, and OB ultrasound Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work flexible hours and cover on-call shifts as required About the Assignment: Join a leading hospital in Mt.
