Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Madison, WI Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty State WI Location 700 S Park St, Madison, WI, 53715 Requirements Varies Various Shift-Times: 6p-6a 7 days a week Call is in house. MD/DO will remain in house all the time call room provided. Volume is 1900 del per year 3-4 per day Team: FP residents OB GYN residents medical students Back up/consults to CNMs and FP who do OB GYN MFM available 24/7 consultative GYN ONC available 24/7 consultative NICU on site We are a regional transfer center for rural hospitals We are a regional trauma center Cases: full OB GYN privileging This role will: -cover the ER floor triage visits and calls their whole shift -answer first calls from AP floor service -assist with cesarean deliveries -first call for ED consults -assists with gyn surgery Schedule: 7 days per week sub with availability preferably at least 7 day stretches at a time or weekends only Please see schedule details for exact shifts. Clinical volume: 3-5 deliveries per day approx. 5 GYN emergencies per week Support: dedicated CNM on shift for assistance OB/GYN physician on call 24/7 Practice environment: Team based collegial setting with strong nursing and ancillary support Certifications: Board Certified or board eligible within 2 years BLS ACLS NRP.
