Quick Facts Location: Meridian, MS Start Date: 09/19/2026 Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: 12 or 24-hour shifts Hours/Week: Varies based on shift schedule Employment Type: Locum Licenses/Certifications: State Medical License, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or willing to obtain) Experience: Prior OB Hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $0.00 (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements What You’ll Do Provide OB hospitalist coverage in a Level 1 Basic NICU setting Manage an approximate 15 patient encounters per month for hospitalists, plus additional patient care outside deliveries Collaborate with in-house anesthesia team available 24/7 Offer GYN coverage as needed Support delivery and postpartum care in a busy hospital environment Assist with emergent OB situations and patient stabilization Work closely with hospital staff to ensure high-quality maternal and neonatal care What You Need Medical license for Mississippi or willingness to obtain Certification in ACLS, PALS, and NRP or willingness to obtain Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care About the Assignment Join a reputable hospital in Meridian, MS, offering high-quality obstetrical care in a supportive environment.
