Quick Facts: Location: Somerset, KY Start Date: 12/31/2025 Duration: Ongoing assignment (please confirm) Shift: 24-hour hospitalist shift Hours/week: 36 (based on shift schedule) Employment Type: Locum/Temporary License/Certifications: Kentucky medical license required Experience: Prior OB/GYN hospitalist experience preferred; no specific years requirement listed Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure your success What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient OB/GYN services including emergency C-sections and obstetric care Cover 24-hour shifts, staying on-site throughout your scheduled shift Collaborate with OR teams for emergency procedures and C-section deliveries Maintain patient safety and quality of care standards in a hospital setting Ensure compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements Engage in effective communication with hospital staff and patients What You Need: Required: Active Kentucky medical license Proven experience in OB/GYN practice, specifically hospitalist roles preferred Clean background with no issues Ability to work 24-hour shifts efficiently Preferred: Previous experience working in a hospitalist setting Strong communication and team collaboration skills About the Assignment: This role involves providing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care at a reputable hospital in Somerset, KY. The facility has two ORs dedicated to C-sections and emergency procedures, requiring a dedicated OB/GYN professional to ensure seamless patient care during 24-hour shifts.
