Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Wisconsin-licensed Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves clinic work combined with call responsibilities in a busy outpatient setting, with the opportunity for flexible scheduling.
Opportunity Highlights
Maternal-Fetal Medicine locum tenens position
Clinic + call coverage in a community hospital environment
Clinic: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Night and weekend call: occasional phone consults from hospital (no on-site call required)
Start date: July 20, 2024
Potential for two providers splitting coverage (two weeks per month)
Urgent credentialing within 30 days
WI Act 10 license preferred; willing to consider candidates with pending licenses
Schedule Details
Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Call coverage: Night and weekends, primarily phone consults
Flexible coverage options: full-time or split schedule
Clinical Scope
Outpatient prenatal and high-risk obstetric management
Consultation for fetal anomalies and maternal health issues
Coordination with hospital-based care teams
Documentation within electronic medical record system
Occasional hospital call for urgent fetal or maternal assessments (via phone)
Requirements
Active Wisconsin medical license (WI Act 10 compliant preferred; licensing consideration possible)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Willingness to provide clinic coverage and on-call support
Ability to start by July 20, 2024
