Doctor of Medicine | Occupational Medicine Location: Durham, NC Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Durham, North Carolina Occupational Medicine Physician Locum Tenens In-office clinical setting • Work-related injury diagnosis and treatment • Pre-placement DOT physicals Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity supporting private companies and governmental agencies in Durham, North Carolina. This role involves diagnosing and treating work-related injuries, performing pre-placement DOT physical examinations, evaluating urgent care patients, conducting in-office procedures, and communicating with employers to provide medical guidance. The position offers a flexible schedule of four to five days per week within a busy occupational health practice. Opportunity Highlights Durham, North Carolina Occupational Medicine Physician Locum Tenens 4-5 days per week In-office clinical setting Serving private companies and government agencies Performing occupational physicals, including surveillance physicals Urgent care duties and in-office procedures Coverage: Ongoing Clinical Scope Diagnose and treat work-related injuries Perform pre-placement DOT physical examinations Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis Conduct in-office procedures Communicate with employers and provide medical guidance Complete documentation in a timely manner Adhere to Orange Book characteristics, including respectful patient interactions Practice Environment This role involves working within a private occupational health practice serving diverse employer clients. The setting is primarily in-office, with a focus on occupational physicals, surveillance exams, and urgent care evaluations.
