Doctor of Medicine | Oncology - General/Other Location: Lafayette, IN Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Hematology and Oncology State IN Location 5165 Mccarty Lane, Lafayette, IN 47905 Requirements Important Must be able to cover at least 90% of these shifts to be considered. Scheduling Needed: Nov 16 – Dec 4, 2026 Dec 21, 2026 – Jan 1, 2027 Jan 18 – Jan 29, 2027 Feb 8 – Feb 26, 2027 Mar 15 – Apr 16, 2027 May 3 – May 7, 2027 May 24 – Jun 4, 2027 OUTPATIENT CLINIC SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM • 9-hour shifts, OT is after 9 hours only • 30-min admin time and 1 hour lunch included • 36 hours of patient care / ambulatory clinic coverage per week HOSPITAL CALL COVERAGE SCHEULE: Call rotation every 4th or 5th week • One full week at a time Expected hospital visits: • Weekdays (M–F) for new consults • Saturday and/or Sunday for rounding and emergent consults PATIENT MIX: 70% Oncology / 30% Hematology (primarily benign cases) PRACTICE MODEL: • Primary focus on outpatient care • On-call Provider handles new consults at the hospital • Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients • New consults are assigned to the on-call provider once evaluated NOTICE TO VENDORS: To maintain continuity of care • 60-day notification of agreement cancelation is required • 45-day advanced notice of PTO is required To complete onboarding timely, preference will be given for the following • Physicians already licensed in Indiana with an active DEA • No paid or pending malpractice claims • No actions reported on NPDB • Time gaps of less than 6 months • Ability to provide 3-4 professional references Schedule Monday: Not Specified, Tuesday: Not Specified, Wednesday: Not Specified, Thursday: Not Specified, Friday: Not Specified, Saturday: Not Specified, Sunday: Not Specified Dates Needed - Alumni Healthcare Staffing offers: Weekly Direct Deposits Travel and Lodging Provided if Needed A Rated Malpractice Coverage 24/7 Availability of your Recruiting Consultant & Credentialing Staff If you have availability for this job or are interested in other opportunities, please send an updated CV or contact me today.
