Doctor of Medicine | Otolaryngology Location: Turlock, CA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Otolaryngology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Turlock, CA Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Call Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Shift Schedule: 8a-5p 3 shifts/month On-Call Shift Schedule: Weekends; 7a-7a Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 15-20 mins Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults only (18) Average Daily Volume: 0-3, 25-30 (OP) Rounding: Yes FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds: 209 EMR System: Athena and Cerner PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC required Licenses: Licensed in CA Certifications: BLS Experience: Must have 50 case logs in the past 24 months Duties & Responsibilities Provide clinical and surgical otolaryngology care for adult patients in an inpatient setting Manage on-call coverage for assigned and unassigned patients, responding within 15‑20 minutes Perform required endoscopic procedures, tracheotomies, thyroidectomies, and other ENT surgeries Round on patients (both assigned and unassigned) and handle admissions as needed Document in EMR systems (Athena and Cerner) and adhere to hospital protocols614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
