Doctor of Medicine | Pathology Location: Greenville, NC Employer: Provider Healthcare Pay: $1,600 to $1,700 per day Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 4 Months Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locum Tenens Opportunity – Forensic Pathologist Greenville, NC, is seeking a board-certified forensic pathologist for locum tenens coverage. Position Details: Start Date: July 2025 (upon credentialing) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no nights) Case Load: 1–3 autopsies per day Key Highlights: 974-bed Level 1 trauma center Work at a Regional Medical Examiner facility affiliated with an Academic Medical Center Over 90% of autopsies are forensic cases , with the remainder hospital-associated No hospital autopsies required This role offers a structured work schedule in a high-volume forensic pathology setting with strong academic support.
