About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pathology MD in Missouri!
We are seeking an experienced Pathologist to join our client's team in Missouri for a 40-day assignment. This role involves working 8-hour shifts, focusing on a variety of cases including breast, colon, prostate, and lung resections, with a requirement for frozen sections, fine needle aspirations, and minimal grossing when Physician Assistants are not available.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform evaluations of breast, colon, prostate, and lung resections.
Conduct frozen sections every other day.
Perform Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA).
Evaluate non-GYN cytology specimens.
Conduct rapid onsite evaluations.
Undertake minimal grossing when Physician Assistants are unavailable.
