Doctor of Medicine | Pediatrics - Hematology/Oncology Location: Waterloo, IA Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: 12/29/2026 About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 60-day assignment in Iowa, starting Nov 2, 2026. This role involves managing clinic-based patient care, including consults, follow-up, and overseeing antineoplastic administration, with a schedule of 16 shifts per month, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Infrequent inpatient consults are also part of the duties, primarily involving fielding calls from hospitalists. Responsibilities and Duties Perform consults and follow-up care. Oversee administration of antineoplastics in the clinic. Field phone calls from hospitalists for admitted patients. Manage cases involving antineoplastics, phlebotomies, IV IgG, iron therapy, and bone marrow biopsies. Provide infrequent inpatient consults as needed.
