Quick Facts Location: Wilmington, NC Start Date: 10/01/2026 Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Hours/Week: 35 hours Employment Type: Full-time Experience: Prior inpatient rehab experience preferred License/Certifications: Valid medical license in North Carolina Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 Pay Package: Discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Lead interdisciplinary team conferences for inpatient rehab patients Manage a caseload of neurologic diagnoses, including stroke and TBI Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Provide expert consultation for a robust referral service of 25–40 patients Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a hospital-based rehab setting Contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on recovery and rehabilitation goals What You Need Required: Valid medical license in North Carolina Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or neurology (preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Preferred: Previous experience leading team conferences or managing a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of neurologic rehabilitation protocols About the Assignment This inpatient rehabilitation role is based at a hospital attached to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, a well-respected healthcare facility. The unit has a maximum census of 33 inpatient rehab patients and a dedicated team focused on neurological recovery. You will play an integral role in driving patient outcomes through leadership and expert care.
