Doctor of Medicine | Psychiatry - General/Other Location: Binghamton, NY Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Step into a long-term locum tenens opportunity for an Adult Psychiatrist in Binghamton, New York . This full-time inpatient assignment offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, approximately 20-patient caseload, and diverse psychiatric care across inpatient units. Ideal for a Board-Certified Psychiatrist seeking a stable locum travel assignment , this opportunity provides meaningful clinical exposure, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the potential for additional Physician On-Call coverage. Job Responsibilities Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Manage medications and prescribe psychotropic medications. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams, case reviews, and treatment recommendations. Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies and admit patients from hospitals, CPEP, and emergency departments. Participate in Clinical Reviews, Forensic Reviews, AOTs, TOOs, and 2PC documentation. Complete required OMH/GBHC documentation and attend daily morning hand-off meetings. Qualifications Board Certified Psychiatrist (ABPN). Active New York medical license. Must successfully complete GBHC credentialing and privileging. Working Hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM 40 hours/week Up to 40 Physician On-Call (POC) hours/week available . Full in-person new employee orientation required. Providers participating in on-call coverage must be willing to cover all inpatient units.
