Doctor of Medicine | Psychiatry - General/Other Location: Binghamton, NY Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Take advantage of an exclusive locum tenens opportunity for an Adult Psychiatrist in Binghamton, New York . This inpatient travel assignment offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, diverse adult psychiatric cases, and the opportunity to provide comprehensive care across inpatient units. Join a long-term clinical opportunity with meaningful patient exposure, a structured 40-hour workweek, and potential additional physician on-call hours. Ideal for a board-certified psychiatrist seeking a locum travel assignment, clinical autonomy, and expanded inpatient experience . Job Responsibilities Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Manage medication and prescribe psychotropic medications. Conduct case reviews, treatment team meetings, and patient admissions. Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies. Manage approximately 20 patients and complete required clinical documentation. Qualifications Board Certified in Psychiatry (ABPN). Active New York Medical License. DEA required to start. BLS required. Must successfully complete the credentialing and privileging process. Willingness to cover all inpatient units if participating in on-call coverage. Working Hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM 40 hours per week Additional Physician On-Call (POC) hours may be available, up to 40 hours/week. Full in-person orientation required.
