Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Paducah, KY Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: 12/24/2026 About the Position We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 12-day assignment in Kentucky, starting Dec 24, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) and focuses on adult cardiac surgery, including CABG and heart valve procedures, general thoracic surgery, ICU management for high-risk patients, and structural heart procedure support, typically managing 1-2 CT surgical cases per day. Responsibilities and Duties Perform adult cardiac surgery, including CABG (arterial revascularization using internal mammary arteries, radial artery; redo cases). Execute heart valve repair and replacement surgery. Conduct general thoracic surgery procedures (tube thoracostomy, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, VATS decortication/lung biopsy, pericardial window). Manage ICU cases for critically ill patients, including Impella insertion/removal/bailout. Provide structural heart procedure support in hybrid OR/cath lab settings. Average 1-2 CT surgical cases per day.
