Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - General/Other Location: Brigham City, UT Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Locums General Surgery Physician to provide 24-hour emergency department and inpatient general surgery coverage in Brigham City, Utah. Coverage is needed throughout October, with the opportunity to support a busy call schedule. Schedule & Coverage Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. (24-hour call) Coverage Need: Approximately 30 24-hour call shifts per month All October Dates Needed EMR: Meditech Responsibilities Provide general surgery coverage for emergency department and inpatient patients. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute surgical conditions. Respond to emergency surgical consultations and provide treatment as appropriate. Coordinate patient care with nursing, technical, and radiology staff. Complete timely and accurate documentation in Meditech. Requirements MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery Active Utah medical license Active Utah DEA registration Utah license and Utah DEA are required.
