About the Facility This full-service acute care hospital operates as a Level 3 trauma center, providing comprehensive medical and surgical services to the patient population served. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support call-based general surgery coverage on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.
About the Facility Location Colorado offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions and year-round activities suited to varied interests. The state hosts seasonal events including fall festivals, outdoor gatherings, live music, and recreational activities at various locations across the state. Clinicians will find diverse recreational and cultural options throughout the region during their assignment.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide general surgery call coverage on 24-hour shifts across inpatient and emergency room settings at an on-site Level 3 trauma facility, with initial coverage required October 23 - 25 and ongoing coverage through November. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures, managing trauma cases, and maintaining continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned call period. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in General Surgery is negotiable for this locum tenens engagement. Support staff available includes Echo Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, Nuclear Technicians, and X-Ray Technicians.
