Quick Facts: Location: Greenville, SC Start Date: 07/03/2026 End Date/Duration: TBA Shift: 24-hour call schedule (exact timing to be announced) Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Locum Licensure/Certifications: South Carolina medical license, board certification in cardiovascular surgery preferred Experience: 3 years in cardiovascular surgery, including aneurysm repair and CABG Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50 Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel and other reimbursements when applicable (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage at IRS rates) What You’ll Do: Perform surgical procedures such as aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass grafts, and heart valve replacements Provide expert pre- and post-operative care for cardiac patients Collaborate with hospital staff and cardiology teams to ensure quality patient outcomes Document medical procedures accurately in the EPIC system Assist with emergent cardiovascular surgeries as needed Follow all hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices What You Need: Valid South Carolina medical license Certification in Cardiovascular Surgery (preferred) Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cardiothoracic surgery Proficiency in EPIC EMR system Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work a flexible 24-hour call schedule About the Assignment: Join a highly regarded hospital in Greenville, SC, providing critical cardiovascular surgical services.
