The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support general surgery coverage, including wound care and hyperbaric chamber services. Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. About the Facility Location Charleston offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural, historical, and recreational attractions. The area features historic neighborhoods, gardens, and architecture, alongside destinations such as the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum and the Charleston Museum. Clinicians will also find access to multiple beaches including Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Kiawah Beachwalker Park, and Edisto Beach, as well as a harbor suited for boating and a calendar of festivals reflecting the area's culinary, musical, and arts traditions. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide full-time general surgery coverage in a clinic setting on day shifts, with no call requirements associated with this assignment. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures, managing wound care cases, and operating hyperbaric chambers as part of the clinical service line. Board certification in General Surgery is required for this locum tenens engagement.
