Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Trauma Location: Dubois, PA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Surgery Trauma Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Dubois, PA Service Setting: Surgery – Hospital (Level II Trauma) Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Oct 05, 2026 – Apr 05, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: October 5-7 (7a-7p) and October 9-11 (7p-7a); ongoing 7-10 shifts per month PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults, Geriatrics Patient Volume/Census: Varies; 4 trauma bays in ED Case Mix: Trauma – abdominal, thoracic, ortho, vascular, neurosurgical FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 272 hospital beds Trauma Level: Level II EMR System: Cerner PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (emergency privileges for October) REQUIRED PROCEDURES Abdominal trauma Thoracic trauma Orthopedic trauma Vascular trauma Neurosurgical trauma JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license Board: BC in Surgery (Surgical Critical Care) DEA: Yes Certifications: ATLS Experience: 1-2 years post fellowship DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide trauma surgery coverage including abdominal, thoracic, ortho, vascular, and neurosurgical procedures Manage trauma patients in a Level II trauma center Work 12-hour shifts (days and nights) as scheduled Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital team Participate in emergency privileges process as needed614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
