Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Trauma Location: Dubois, PA Employer: WhiteCoat Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Trauma Surgeon Assignment Details Location: DuBois, Pennsylvania Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) Specialty: Trauma Surgery Practice Setting: Hospital / Surgery Coverage Type: Scheduled Coverage Required Call Start Date: October 5, 2026 Expected Duration: Through March 2027 Coverage Need: Approximately 7-10 Shifts Per Month EMR: Cerner Compensation Hourly Rate: $4,130 per 24 Hours Night Call: $1,090/shift Call Back: $370/hour Schedule 12-Hour Day and Night Shifts Ongoing Coverage Through March 2027 Approximately 7-10 Shifts Per Month Current Priority Coverage Dates October 5, 2026: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM October 6, 2026: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM October 7, 2026: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM October 9, 2026: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM October 10, 2026: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM October 11, 2026: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Candidates Must Be Available for the October Coverage Dates Patient Population / Volume Adult Patients Daily Census Varies 272-Bed Hospital 4 Trauma Bays in the Emergency Department Clinical Responsibilities Provide Trauma Surgery Coverage Manage Adult Trauma Patients Provide Emergency and Operative Trauma Care Required Procedures / Skills Trauma Surgery Abdominal Trauma Thoracic Trauma Orthopedic Trauma Vascular Trauma Neurosurgical Trauma Broad Trauma Surgical Skills Required Clinical Environment / Support Level II Trauma Center Full Hospital Support Two Surgeons Onsite During Weekday Day Shifts One Surgeon Covers Trauma and One Covers Emergency General Surgery During Weekdays One Surgeon Onsite During Weekend Coverage Backup Trauma Surgeon Available Days and Nights With Approximately 15-Minute Response Time Cerner EMR Requirements Board Certified - Required Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Training - Required At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Trauma Surgery - Required Active Pennsylvania Medical License - Required Licensing Candidates Not Accepted ATLS - Required DEA Registration - Required Cerner Experience - Required Clean Background Required for Emergency Privileges Minor Malpractice Settlements May Be Considered Credentialing Emergency Privileges Required for October Coverage Candidate Must Already Hold an Active Pennsylvania License for the October Dates614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
