Doctor of Medicine | Urgent Care Location: Denver, CO Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 1 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Denver, Colorado Urgent Care Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity Denver Metro Coverage | PRN Scheduling | Adults Pediatrics | Multiple Locations Rhino Medicading the charge seeking experienced Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Med-Peds Physicians for an ongoing PRN locum tenens opportunity across the Denver, Colorado metro area . Rather than tying physicians to a single clinic, this opportunity provides access to multiple established urgent-care locations throughout the Denver market , creating greater flexibility to build PRN coverage around your existing schedule. Opportunity Highlights Ongoing PRN coverage Multiple locations throughout the Denver metro Weekday and weekend opportunities Extended-hours urgent care Approximately 30–45 patients per day Adults and pediatric patients 3 months Established outpatient urgent-care environment Practice Velocity EMR Scheduling Coverage opportunities fall within established clinic operating hours: Monday–Friday: 8A–8P Saturday: 8A–7P Sunday: 8A–5P Scheduling is PRN, providing an opportunity for local physicians to add coverage without committing to a traditional full-time schedule. Clinical Scope Provide broad-spectrum urgent care for adults and pediatric patients presenting with common acute illnesses and minor injuries. The practice environment includes: Acute illness and injury evaluation and treatment Simple laceration repair Incision and drainage of abscesses Minor burns, sprains and musculoskeletal complaints Respiratory, ENT, dermatologic and other common urgent-care presentations On-site X-ray and laboratory testing EKGs and diagnostic testing Occupational medicine and work-related injury care Physical examinations and drug testing APP supervision as needed Requirements Physician with 3–6 years of Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience Board Certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds Comfortable treating patients 3 months and older Comfortable with the procedural scope of a busy urgent-care practice Able to supervise APPs as required Local Denver-area candidates A Different Kind of Locums Flexibility This is particularly well suited for Denver-area physicians who want to add clinical shifts without taking on another traditional position .
