Doctor of Medicine | Urgent Care Location: Phoenix, AZ Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Urgent Care State AZ Location 1919 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ Requirements Phoenix Children's is looking for experienced providers to join their team in Phoenix! The Phoenix Children's Hospital - Thomas Campus features a 24/7 pediatric emergency department rather than a standalone walk-in urgent care at that specific address. Pediatricians could work in the Urgent Care only or in the ED seeing predominantly lower acuity patients. Please note: Pediatrician could be used at any of our 4 UC sites or any of our ED campuses. We try to keep people geographically located to a few sites that are in close proximity. Dates of Coverage: 4/1/2027-6/30/2028 Schedule: UC Pediatrician shifts are a combination of 7-hour evenings and 10-hour shifts weekends. Client open to Locum covering ED shifts 8 hour shifts. Reason for Coverage: Satellite Hospital Expansion Practice Setting: Urgent Care Patient Population: 100 PediatricAverage Patients: Thomas ED sees 75k visit/year Arrowhead ED sees 30K visits/year Avondale ED sees 55K visits/year Mercy/Gilbert is a new site that is expected to see 20K in the first year.Trauma/Facility Designation: Thomas ED is the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in the state. Arrowhead and Avondale are level 4. Electronic Medical Record EMR: Sunrise Clinical Manager For Urgent Care Only: BLS certification Procedures: Repair of wounds Incision and Drainage For Pediatrician in the ED: BLS and PALS Recommended Core Procedures: Repair of wounds Incision and Drainage Lumbar Puncture Stabilization of Fracture/Dislocation Nasal or Aural Foreign Body Removal Administration of local anesthetics including basic and regional blocks Procedural SedationPlease note: Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 daysAre Temps Available?
