7:00 AM-7:00 AM Weekday Call Coverage 2027 Coverage Needs Expected to Continue on a PRN Basis Availability Must Be Provided With Submission Current Coverage Dates October 13 at 7:00 AM-October 15 at 7:00 AM, 2026 November 2 at 7:00 AM-November 5 at 7:00 AM, 2026 November 9 at 7:00 AM-November 12 at 7:00 AM, 2026 November 30 at 7:00 AM-December 1 at 7:00 AM, 2026 December 17 at 7:00 AM-December 21 at 7:00 AM, 2026 December 28 at 7:00 AM-December 31 at 7:00 AM, 2026 Patient Population / Volume Adults Age 18+ Patient Volume Varies Patients Are Not Scheduled Busy Regional Urology Coverage Setting Clinical Responsibilities Provide 24-Hour Urology Call Coverage Provide Emergency Urology Consultations Round on Inpatients in the Morning as Needed Round on Patients Following Procedures When They Remain Hospitalized Provide Emergency Surgical Intervention When Needed Consult With Emergency Department and Other Providers Required Procedures / Skills Cystoscopy as Needed Ureteral Stent Placement for Hematuria as Needed Kidney Stone Treatment Stone Extraction as Needed Holmium Laser Lithotripsy Management of Urinary Tract Infections Foley Catheter Placement Consultation Management of Testicular Torsion - Rare Emergency Urologic Surgery as Needed Clinical Environment / Support Urology Physician Assistant Support Inpatient Clinical Support Level II Trauma Hospital Cerner for Inpatient Documentation GE Centricity Available for Review of Outpatient Records Requirements Board Certified in Urology - Required At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Urology - Required Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC - Required IMLC Licensing Candidates May Be Considered DEA Registration - Required ACLS - Required BLS - Required Level II Trauma Experience - Required Must Be Comfortable With 24-Hour Call and Emergency Urology Coverage Credentialing / Submission Name Clearance Required Name and NPI Number Required for Name Clearance Name Clearance Typically Takes Approximately 24-48 Hours Availability Must Be Included With Submission
