This assignment offers the opportunity to join an established regional urology practice delivering comprehensive surgical and outpatient care while utilizing advanced robotic technology within a collaborative, physician-led environment. Opportunity Highlights Topeka, Kansas Urology Physician Locum Tenens Ongoing Assignment Full-Time Opportunity Flexible Scheduling Available Established Regional Referral Practice Epic EMR Robotic Surgery Program Two-Physician Practice Immediate Ongoing Need Schedule Providers typically enjoy a balanced practice consisting of both clinic and operative time. Typical weekly schedule includes: Three clinic days Two operating room days Flexible scheduling available based on provider availability and assignment length The practice is willing to customize schedules for physicians seeking less than full-time coverage while maintaining continuity of patient care. Call Responsibilities Providers may participate in a shared hospital call rotation supporting a collaborative physician team. Call responsibilities may include: General urology call Hospital consultations Emergency surgical coverage Shared coverage between two nearby hospitals A dedicated 24-hour nurse triage service manages first-call responsibilities, helping reduce physician interruptions and improve work-life balance. Clinical Scope Provide comprehensive urologic care across both outpatient clinic and surgical settings, including: General adult urology Robotic-assisted surgery Endourology Stone disease management Benign prostatic disease Oncology evaluations Inpatient consultations Office-based urologic procedures Operative management of common urologic conditions Physicians with robotic surgery experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with pelvic floor reconstruction is highly desired. Patient Volume Typical clinical workload includes: Approximately 25–30 clinic patients per day Approximately 5–6 surgical cases on operating room days The balanced schedule provides an excellent mix of outpatient care and operative practice within a well-established referral network. Practice Environment Join a collaborative urology team providing comprehensive care across a regional referral market. Practice resources include: Epic electronic medical record da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system Dedicated operating room support Two established full-time urologists 24-hour nurse triage handling first-call responsibilities Outpatient clinic conveniently located adjacent to the hospital Integrated multidisciplinary referral network This practice emphasizes collaboration, surgical excellence, and efficient patient care while providing physicians access to advanced technology and strong clinical support.
