Job description
Locum Physician – Neurology in Cincinnati, OH
A hospital-based neurology locum opportunity is available in Cincinnati, Ohio due to the unexpected departure of a provider. The facility is seeking additional neurologists to help cover scheduling gaps through approximately September or October.
Practice Highlights:
100% inpatient neurology practice
Adult patient population only
10–20+ hospital patients per day
2 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers in the group
Lab and X-Ray available onsite
EMR: EPIC
Candidate Requirements:
Board Certified in Neurology
Active Ohio license or IMLC
ACLS certification required
Clean malpractice history required for temporary privileges
NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required at submission
Must confirm availability for listed dates and potential coverage through Sept/Oct
Schedule & Coverage:
Coverage Dates: June 29 (8 AM) – July 12 (6 PM)
Additional coverage needs through September/October
Hospital inpatient coverage
Required Procedures:
Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)
Thrombolytic therapy
EEG and EMG interpretation
Brain death examinations
