Needed coverage will be roughly 2 weeks per month on-going. Nights and weekends are beeper call.
Surgery residents in house, Locum will need to come in for emergencies and rounding over the weekend.
Clinic/OR days are 7a-5p, Mon-Fri. Note that the first and last day hand offs are at 12p. This will mean five
hour days will be scheduled. The remainder of the assignment the locum provider will be scheduled for full
days 7a-5p. We are a Level 2 trauma center requiring 24/7 coverage for Pediatric Surgery. (PICU and NICU
on site).
