Job Description
Job Title: Interventional Radiologist
Profession: Physician

Hours per Shift: 8 hours (8 am - 4 pm)
Experience: Minimum years of experience required: General Interventional Radiology experience; stroke capability preferred but not required
License: Active North Dakota license or IMLC
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Board Certified
Must-Have:
Experience with required procedures
Ability to complete credentialing paperwork
Description:
Ongoing locum coverage is needed for Interventional Radiology.
The position requires general Interventional Radiology skills.
Coverage will include 8-hour day shifts, generally from 8 am to 4 pm.
There will be evening call from 4 pm to 8 am.
24-hour call will be required on weekends.
The average number of procedures performed in an 8-hour shift varies from 10 to 15.
Providers may only be called for emergencies during call shifts.
A comprehensive list of procedures performed includes diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
These procedures consist of angiography, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization, and vascular access.
Additional procedures include biopsies, drainage procedures, and pain management.
Experience with neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy is required.
The provider should have completed necessary residency or fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
Credentialing will require completion of paperwork.
All interested candidates must have experience with the outlined procedures.
