Schedule/Availability Requirements:

Apr 24 (7a) - 28 (7a)

ongoing date have yet to be released and are TBD, starting July 2025.

Details: 24 hour call (8 gratis hours) - 7a-7a

Setting: Call, Inpatient Trauma Level I

FTE: 1.0

Required Procedures/Job Duties: Level I Trauma facility with primary call requirements- 24/7/365. Proficiency in general Neurosurgery, trauma, spine.

EMR: Epic

Support Staff: none

Reason for Coverage: Vacancies, and need additional primary call coverage providers.

EMR Required Training: Module (learn lessons) - Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.

EMR Virtual training - Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual EMR training must be scheduled prior to the providers first day, to avoid the provider missing their first day.

Submission Requirements Board Certified Neurological Surgery - Required

Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission

Active ACLS, BLS - Required for credentialing

Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)

Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required

Must disclose # of shifts per month provider can offer to the team, ongoing - Required

Candidates must be available for the April dates detailed in the job description to be considered for ongoing dates - Required

Clean Malpractice/Background - Required - Candidates with a self inquiry NPDB report will be considered at a higher priority as this will ensure no issues on the candidates file for emergency temp privs to be granted.
