Duration: Ongoing coverage needs, including holiday, vacation, and weekend shifts
Schedule: Mon-Sun 24-hour call; Mon-Fri 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (day), 4:30 PM–8:30 AM (night call); Fri-Mon 4:30 PM–8:30 AM (weekend call)
Hours/Week: Flex up to coverage needs
Employment Type: Locum
Licenses/Certifications Required: State medical license; Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery
Experience: Prior vascular surgery/specialty experience preferred
Travel: No travel reimbursement; local candidates only

What You'll Do
Provide vascular surgery services including dialysis access procedures and local care
Cover inpatient hospital-based cases at Maryview Medical Center and Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center
Manage adult and geriatric patient populations with a typical volume of 5–10 patients daily
Respond to on-call needs via beeper/phone, including nights and weekends
Collaborate with hospital staff and coordinate patient care plans
Ensure documentation in Epic EMR system
What You Need
Required: Medical license in Virginia or willing to obtain
Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery
Experience with vascular procedures, dialysis access, and local procedures
Preferred: Prior locum or inpatient hospital experience
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
